With SportsNow you have the possibility to offer rooms of your studio for rent and to make them bookable online for your members if desired. In this tutorial you will learn how to map the room rental in SportsNow. 


Good to know:

  • Private room booking: If the room rental is not to be publicly bookable, i.e. can only be booked by certain persons, the tenants of the room must be recorded as members and the corresponding pass must be stored in the customer details.

    Note: In addition, set a check mark in the pass settings for the function «This pass can only be sold by the studio. Members cannot buy this pass themselves.».


Step-by-step guide

On the web

  • Create team member: For each room, a team member e.g. «Room 1» is created without login.
    • To do this, click in the admin area on «Set up my studio» - «My team» - «Add new member».
    • Fill in the required information and select «Staff without login» for the role. 
    • When you are done, click on «Create member».
  • Create a category: For room rental, create a separate category e.g. "Room Rental".
    • Click in the admin area on «Set up my studio» - «My Categories» - «Add new category».
    • Once you are done, click «Save Category».
  • Create class: A class will be created for each room.
    • Click in the admin area on «Set up my studio» - «My class schedule» - «Add class».
    • Class type: «Individual appointments». 
    • Select the appropriate times when the room can be rented and the team member created accordingly and add other details.
    • Check the box «Publish appointments and activate online booking. The customer can book appointments online.».
    • When you are finished, click on «Create class».
  • Create pass: Create the appropriate pass with which the room can be booked.
    • Click in the admin area on «Set up my studio» - «My passes» - «Add new pass».
    • Fill in the details as required.
      Note: For private room rental put a check mark at the setting «This pass can only be sold by the studio. Members cannot buy this pass themselves.».
    • As soon as you are finished, click on «Safe Pass».


The room can now be booked on your SportsNow page under «Appointments», as long as the room rental is public.
