Who can use this feature?

SportsNow offers you the possibility to create and manage member groups. You can use member groups to send messages to all members of a group without having to select them individually. Additionally, classes can be created that can only be booked by members of a certain group.


Step-by-step instructions

On the web

  • Click in the admin area on «My customers».
  • Click on «Member groups».
  • To create a new member group, click on «Create group».
  • Click on «Create group» to confirm the creation of a new group.
  • Click on «Action», to change or delete existing member groups.
  • A message confirms that the creation was successful.

Fields and settings

  • Name: Enter a name for the new member group.
  • Description: Add a description for the group.
  • Add members: Select the members that belong to this group.

This function is only available on the web.


View all members of a group

On the web

  • Click in the admin area on «My customers».
  • Click on «Member groups».
  • Click on «Action» - «Edit» at the desired member group.
  • Click on the column «Status» in the list of members to sort the list.
  • You will now see all members who are in the group.
  • Alternatively, after clicking on «Edit», you can click on «Excel xslx» in the upper right corner. You will get an Excel export and can then view the group members in the table: Export functions explained

This function is only available on the web. 


Send messages to specific member groups

On the web

  • Click in the admin area on «Messages».
  • When choosing the recipients, you can select the desired membership group.
  • Your message now goes to all members of this group.

In the app

  • Press «Send message». 
  • Select a created member group from the recipients.
  • Your message now goes to all members of this group.


Offer classes and workshops only for specific member groups

On the web

  • Click in the admin area on «Set up my studio» - «My class schedule».
  • Click on «Add class».
  • You can now enter a new class. Enter the desired settings: Class settings explained
  • If you scroll down, you will get to the section «Booking settings».
  • At «Member groups» you can now select the desired member group. If you have selected a group, only members of the selected group can book this class or workshop.

This function is only available on the web.

Note: As administrator you can add a member to this class even if the member is not in the member group.
